8) Endless variety of colours, effects, and textures. Leather is so versatile, it is used for fashion, furniture, automotive, shoes, handbags, etc.

9) It is a prestige item. Most items like furniture or automotive seats are available in leather or textile. The leather version is usually an extra cost option, thereby indicating QUALITY.
